Profile
Andy Ogles is a Middle Tennessee native with deep roots dating back to the founding of our state. After graduating from Franklin High School, he married his high school sweetheart, Monica. They currently live on a small farm south of Columbia with their three children, Adley, Drew, and Isaac.
Andy obtained his degree from MTSU. He’s had a successful career as an entrepreneur owning and operating restaurants and a real estate investment business. Feeling the call to serve his community, Andy became the COO of Abolition International, overseeing operations and investments in several countries to fight human trafficking.
In 2013, he began his time with Americans for Prosperity (AFP), where he worked on economic, tax, and healthcare policy. During this time, Congressman Ogles authored and contributed to publications regarding Obamacare and tax policies, especially the impacts on the State of Tennessee. After Americans for Prosperity, Congressman Ogles began working at the Laffer Center for Supply-Side Economics. He served as the Executive Director, overseeing the center’s efforts to preserve and promote core tenets of supply-side economics by expanding the organization’s exposure throughout the state. Additionally, Congressman Ogles assisted in a major project to restructure Tennessee’s burdensome tax code.
Since 2018, he served as Mayor of Maury County, Tennessee, and was recognized as Tennessee’s most conservative mayor.
