Chris Pappas, U.S. Representative, New Hampshire (1st District)

Congressman Pappas serves on the House Committee on Small Business, which oversees general small business matters; the Small Business Administration; entrepreneurship; and small business federal contracting.

As a member of the Committee, Congressman Pappas is committed to listening to the needs of New Hampshire small businesses and using his knowledge as a small business owner to address their concerns. Congressman Pappas will serve on the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Workforce Development Subcommittee.

House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs

Congressman Pappas serves on the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, which oversees veterans’ measures with broad jurisdiction, including the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), and the National Cemetery Administration (NCA).

Congressman Pappas serves as the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs, where he is involved in directing investigations and hearings into compensation, general and special pensions, and life insurance owed to veterans. Congressman Pappas will also serve as a member on the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.

House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure

Congressman Pappas serves on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure which exercises jurisdiction over transportation and infrastructure issues around the country, including roads, waterways, transportation infrastructure, and federal management of emergencies and natural disasters.

As a member of the Committee, Congressman Pappas is committed to ensuring that Granite State infrastructure and transportation matters receive top priority. Congressman Pappas currently serves as a member on the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation, the Highway and Transit, and the Water Resources and Environment Subcommittees.
