Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a humble heart, acknowledging Your sovereignty over all creation. I lift up our government leaders, including those with whom I may disagree or whose views differ from my own.
Lord, Your Word reminds us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to pray for all in authority, so that we may live in peace. I ask that You grant wisdom and discernment to these leaders as they navigate complex decisions that impact our communities and nation. Help them to seek justice, mercy, and truth in their governance.
I pray for their hearts, Lord, that they may know you personally as Savior, and be open to Your guidance. May they seek Your will above their own ambitions and political agendas. Surround them with wise counsel and people who uplift and challenge them towards righteousness.
Father, help me to view these leaders through the lens of Your love. Teach me to practice grace and compassion, even in disagreement. May my words and actions reflect Your light, fostering understanding rather than division.
As we pray for peace and unity, let our hearts align with Your desire for all people to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). May our prayers bring about positive change and a spirit of cooperation, as we seek the common good for our nation.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayer. I trust in Your perfect plan, knowing that You are in control.
